Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Breastfeeding Week was created by the Asian Pacific Islander (API) Breastfeeding Task Force of Los Angeles County. This year’s theme “Telling our stories. Elevating our voices.”

The API Task Force works to promote and support breast/chestfeeding in the Asian community by ensuring that there are language-appropriate materials and culturally-sensitive breast/chestfeeding services.
